1st Logo (December 1, 1957)

Logo: On a black background, we see a bunch of faint smoke rising. Few seconds later, we see a statue of Hindu god Shiva doing the Tandava slowly zooming towards us. As it does that, the company's name slowly appears in front of the statue, with the word "NATIONAL" in a slanted form, and the word "films" in a cursive font.

Variants: At the ending of Tasher Ghar, the footage is less deteriorated and the company name doesn't appear.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: A dark string theme as well as a man singing and a deep bell accompanying the man.

Availability: Both of the variants are only seen on Tasher Ghar.

Legacy: This logo is known to the community as unintentionally horrifying, due to the music, and the fact we can't even see the logo because of the severe deterioration.

2nd Logo (October 8, 1959)

Logo: On a cloudy/stormy background, we see the company's name in Bengali, which is curved out. Few seconds later, we see once again the Shiva statue fading and zooming in. It then fades to black.

Technique: Live-action for the clouds and statue, static for the text.

Audio: Same as the 1st logo, but with the 1st part being cut out.

Availability: Seen only on Sonar Harin.
