Background
Naxos Records is a Hong Kong-based record label specializing in budget-priced releases of classical music. It was founded in 1985 by German-born resident Klaus Heymann.
Logo (2000s)
Visuals: On a white background, many blue vertical and horizontal lines curve down and around the view. As it pans away from the upper-left of the screen, it is revealed that the blue lines are actually part of a near-completed drawing of five columms. When the drawing is complete, a space plasters across the columns to make room for the word "NAXOS", also in blue and in the same font used in the Hi-Tops Video logo.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A choir/orchestral fanfare.
Availability: Can be found on some Jazz Icons DVDs by this company.
