Background: Neo Software Produktions was a German development studio. It was acquired by Take-Two in 2001, while working on Max Payne port. This game was the last one to have the old logo. In 2003 Neo Software was renamed Rockstar Vienna, but closed abruptly during the development of Manhunt 2 in 2006.

1st Logo

(1993, 2001)

Logo: A simple yellow and black banner is seen, with "neo" inside.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Originally used on an Amiga version of Whale's Voyage. Strangely, the black-BG version appeared on Max Payne port for Xbox, this being the last appearance before the studio renamed.

2nd Logo

(1993-1996)

Logo: Yellow and black neo shield is seen, crossed with light stripes.
Variant: In 1995 the logo was redone with more accurate 3D effect.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Seen on a lot of games published and developed.

3rd Logo

(1998-2001)

Logo: We see a shield from before redone in 3D, lit from below and with a byline reading "...online with the future...".
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Appeared on Alien Nations and The Sting! (also known as Der Clou 2 in Europe).
