1st ID (Early 1980s)

ID: On a space background, we see a bright Star with a woman's eyes open, the line draws a Nepali tower along with birds sliding with the words “NEPAL TELEVISION” and the company name in Nepali appears letter by letter and fades in.

FX/SFX: Choppily 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: A muffled guitar theme with announcer speaks in Nepali.

Availability: Extinct on television.


2nd ID (January 31, 2019-present)

ID: On a sunset, we see a some mountains with a bird flying around, another bird comes in and fades to a Nepali city. Zooms out with some birds flying around, it fades to some house and rocks and a hill, it fades again to a Nepali city as before with two birds flying around. It fades couple of shots to unveils the Nepal Television logo with the word “HD”.

FX/SFX: Beautiful CGI.

Music/Sounds: A traditional Nepali theme.
