Background

Neptoon Studios is a Canadian animation studio founded by Todd Kauffman and Mark Thornton, the creators of Grojband and Looped. The company was launched in 2003.

1st Logo (June 10-July 1, 2013)

Visuals: On a lime background with the sun above, a tubular square fits with stack letters says "NEP-TOON STUDioS" and then the "OO" blinks. The sun moves from left to right as the logo shines.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A blinking sound.

Availability: Seen on the first eleven episodes of Grojband.

2nd Logo (July 3, 2013-May 25, 2015)

Visuals: Over a brown stone background is the Neptoon Studios logo from before appear as the stone breaks.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A slamming sound.

Availability: Seen on the last fifteen episodes of Grojband. This strangely does not appear on Looped, despite Todd Kauffman and Mark Thornton both being involved.
