Background: New Republic Pictures is a production company formed in 2017 by Brian Oliver.

(May 31, 2019-)

Logo: On a cloudy sky background, a plane flies in over the logo. 2 more than appear. The camera pans toward the action, and the planes move through the sky. A smoke then appears, revealing that the logo is on a city skyline. Three planes move toward the logo, and settle to the center, and we see several searchlights. Now we see a total of 7 airplanes, turning right and flying up to the sky. The camera zooms out, and onto the black background, revealing that the text reads "NEW REPUBLIC" below the box, and below it is the line and the word "PICTURES" in spaced-out letters.

FX/SFX: The airplanes flying. Impressive CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: The sound of a airplane engine, and a alarm, or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Fairly common. Seen on Rocketman, Coming 2 America and 1917.

Editor's Note: The CGI on this logo is very well done.
