Logo: On a cloudy sky background, a plane flies in over the logo. Two more then appear as the camera pans toward the action, while the planes move through the sky. Smoke then appears, revealing that it is on a city skyline. Three more planes move toward the logo, and settle to the center, and we see several searchlights. There are a total of seven airplanes, turning right and flying up to the sky. The camera zooms out into a box on a black background, revealing "NEW REPUBLIC" below the box, with a line and the word "PICTURES" in spaced-out letters.
Variant:
- A still version exists.
- On Ambulance (2022), only the company name is shown and appears forming from blue and red sirens, like police lights.
FX/SFX: The airplanes flying. Impressive CGI animation, done by Jeff Han.
Music/Sounds: The sound of an airplane engine and an alarm, or the opening theme of the film. The still version has a thud sound.
Availability: Fairly common. First seen on Rocketman, and later seen on 1917, Coming 2 America, Without Remorse, Infinite, the end of Clifford the Big Red Dog (2021) and Ambulance. Strangely this was not seen on The Tomorrow War although it was seen on posters despite co-producing it.
Editor's Note: The CGI on this logo is very well done.
