Daini Toei
Logo (March 1, 1960-February 8, 1961)
Visuals: We see a shot of a mountain at dawn. As sun rays began to appear, the Daini Toei logo in white (a modified Toei logo with the Japanese characters "第二" to the left and right respectively) zooms in.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: A generic 1960s trumpet fanfare, silent, or the opening theme of the film.
Availability: Unknown.
New Toei
Logo (February 15-December 24, 1961)
Visuals: A shot of an erupting volcano. The camera zooms into the crater as the New Toei logo (a modified Toei logo with the Japanese characters "ニュー東映" inside) zooms in.
Technique: Mostly live-action. The zooming of the logo might've been done on cels.
Audio: None.
Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
