Logo (1953-1962)

Visuals: Over a black background, there is an outlined square with the outlined oval intersecting forming an "X" with a dot at the top part of the intersection part of the ovals. Below it is a white "日映科学作品".

Variants:

An early version has the background being white, the black square being filled and no company name.
A color variant exist.
- In 結核と斗う, the background is blue, the outlined ovals are white, and the company name is yellow.
- In 雪に挑む, the background is blue textured.
In ピアノへの招待, the logo is in a blue background, and the company name is "NICHIEI KAGAKU PRODUCTIONS" in white, narrowed font.
In 明日への日本, the company name below is "日映科学映画作品".
