Background
Nickelodeon Pictures was a British pre-cert video distributor. The name is derived from "Nickelodeon", an early type of cinema, so called because they cost a nickel (five cents) for admission.
(1983-1987)
Logo: On a gray background, we see a silhouette of a man staring into a kinetoscope with the words “NICKELODEON PICTURES” below him. Some lights flash around the picture. Below that, the words “Big Movie Video in a Little Red Box.” appear in a red font.
Technique: Basic animation.
Music/Sounds: A bell tune with bangs and a synthesizer.
Availability: Probably seen on pre-cert tapes.
