(1979?-1991?)
Logo: On a blue to black gradient background, we see a gold outline of the Nikkatsu "Abstract N" logo zooming in and leaving a trail. The trail catches up to the outline and causes a flash, filling the outline with gold. The hiragana text "にっかつ" ("Nikkatsu") appears, and the logo shines, the surface of the gold "N" ripples a bit.
Technique: Scanimation.
Music/Sounds: A calm 17-note decending synth theme, or none.
Availability: Seen on some home video releases from Nikkatsu, including Crippled Masters, the Shuto Kosoku Trial series, Destiny to Order, User Friendly, the 1990 Night of the Living Dead remake, and Dark Cat, among others.
