Background
Ninja Theory is a British video game developer based in Cambridge, United Kingdom founded in March 2000 as Just Add Monsters by former Sony Interactive Entertainment employees Mike Ball, Nina Kristensen and Tameem Antonaides. The studio was acquired by Argonaut Games in October 2000, but after their bankruptcy and subsequent closure in 2004 the studio went through a management buyout and recieved its current name. The studio is best known for the Hellblade series, as well as various other titles such as Bleeding Edge, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Heavenly Sword. The studio also developed DmC: Devil May Cry, a reboot of Capcom's Devil May Cry franchise. Ninja Theory was acquired by Microsoft and became a part of Xbox Game Studios on June 10, 2018.
