1st Tag (2001-2003?)

Visuals: We see the GameCube's top, as the console light flashes orange. We zoom to the text "NINTENDO GAMECUBE" in the same style as the console's logo. A glitchy flash occurs, making "www.nintendogamecube.com" appear in the bottom.

Variants:

  • On some European commercials, the text "Life's a game" and "www.nintendo-europe.com" are shown under the black circle.
  • Canadian commercials have "nintendo.ca" replacing "www.nintendogamecube.com".

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: The end of the music it uses, along with a beep when the light flashes, or the ending theme of the commercial.

Availability: Can be seen on some North American and European commercials.

2nd Tag (2001-2007)

Visuals: It begins with the purple cube rotating with the word "NINTENDO", in small gray letters fades in. The cube fades to the 'G' as the word "GAMECUBE", in white fades in below.

Variant: Sometimes, it uses the Mario Kart Double Dash!! Bonus Disc verion.

Technique: 3D animation.

Audio: A female voice whispering "GameCube", or the sounds of an audience clauding.

Availability: Can be seen on North American commercials.

3rd Tag (2001-2000s)

Visuals: We see the Nintendo GameCube console. A hand picks it up, revealing the cube logo. The Nintendo Gamecube text slides up.

Variants:

  • On Japanese commercials for Super Mario Sunshine, Mario's hand replaces the normal hand.
  • This logo could sometimes appear at the end.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: What seems to be a rain drop sound, followed by a male announcer saying "GameCube" in some sort sort of romaji form.

Availability: Seen on Japanese and Korean commercials.

4th Tag (2001?-2000s)

Visuals: We see the Nintendo GameCube logo in-credit.

Technique: None.

Audio: The ending of the commercial.

Availability: Seen on North American and European commercials.

5th Tag (2001?-2000s)

Visuals: On a background similar to the GameCube's top, the 3D text "Nintendo GameCube" in the same style as the console put themselves on the disc tray in the system's Jet Black variation.

Variant: The logo is sometimes sped up.

Technique: 3D animation.

Audio: It varies.

Availability: Seen on North American and European commercials.
