Logo (1994-1999)

Visuals: Over a black background, there is "NONFICTION" flying into the screen via trail. Then, the word "FILMS" also flies into the screen via trail. A red line wipes in, placed between the text "NONFICTION" and "FILMS". The logo fades out.

Bylines:

1995-1998: A WinStar Communications Company
1998-1999: A Winstar Company

Variant:

Starting in 1995, after being owned by Winstar Communications, a byline would appear below. Also, the animation has been redone.
Sometimes, the word "A" fades in above the text "NONFICTION" while the word "Presentation" fades in below the text "FILMS" before the red line wipes in.

Technique: Decent animation.

Audio: Two whoosh sounds.

Availability: The bylineless version was seen at the end of Biography on A&E. The Winstar Communications byline version was seen at the end of The Guillotine.
