Logo (1994-1999)
Visuals: Over a black background, there is "NONFICTION" flying into the screen via trail. Then, the word "FILMS" also flies into the screen via trail. A red line wipes in, placed between the text "NONFICTION" and "FILMS". The logo fades out.
Bylines:
- 1995-1998: A WinStar Communications Company
- 1998-1999: A Winstar Company
Variant:
- Starting in 1995, after being owned by Winstar Communications, a byline would appear below. Also, the animation has been redone.
- Sometimes, the word "A" fades in above the text "NONFICTION" while the word "Presentation" fades in below the text "FILMS" before the red line wipes in.
Technique: Decent animation.
Audio: Two whoosh sounds.
Availability: The bylineless version was seen at the end of Biography on A&E. The Winstar Communications byline version was seen at the end of The Guillotine.
