1st Logo (1985-1987)
Visuals: On a sky blue space background with a bright 6-pointed star from the upper, below it is "NL", with the "L"'s lower end's extending out. "NOVALUX" is seen underneath it, with both seeming to be accompanied by shadows of white rays.
Technique: A painting filmed by a camera.
Audio: "The Sound of The Crowd" by The Human League.
Availability: Seen on the release of Fortress in the Sun, among others.
2nd Logo (1987-1990)
Visuals: Against a blue-orange sky background, a black object comes to the screen downwards, revealed to be a stylized masked black rectangle within "NOVALUX" and three RGB stripes underneath in it. Once it faces forwards and settles in, a light yellow border is drawn over, and the sky fades to black-orange afterwards.
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: A dramatic twinkling synth piece, which then segues to a synthesized rhythm with a violin. A whoosh is heard when the border draws in.
Availability: So far, seen on the release of Busted Up.
