Background

Novitas is a Pakistani special effects studio founded by Saeed Rizvi in 1989.

(March 10, 1989)

Logo: On a space background, we see "novitas" in a weird font zooming out to the center, leaving a shadow trail in the process. The logo is revealed in white with the text on the bottom reading "Cine Labratories (PVT) Ltd."

Technique: Scanimate effects.

Music/Sounds: A loud zap along with the opening theme from the film.

Availability: Seen only on Shani.

Logo: On a black background, we see "novitas" in the same typeface, but with a filmstrip behind the logo and in top of "t" zooming out into the center, leaving a shadow trail like in the previous logo. It then flashes itself, revealing in cyan.

Technique: Scanimate effects.

Music/Sounds: A loud zap and a whoosh.

Availability: Seen only on Sarkata Insaan, which is the first Pakistani sci-fi horror film produced and directed by Saeed Rizvi.
