1st Intro (1985-1986)

Visuals: On a blue background, an italic "H" is shown at the left. The horizontal line of the "Н" extends to the right of the screen, and the Russian text "ИНФОРМАЦИОННЫЙ ВЫПУСК", with a black outline, starts scrolling from right to left in front of the line. Meanwhile, the letters of "овости" wipe in next to the "Н" from left to right. The "ИНФОРМАЦИОННЫЙ ВЫПУСК" text appears scrolling twice in a row, and stops at the center of the ribbon during the third time it appears.

Variant: An early still variant exists, where the logo is placed on a light yellow background and the "ИНФОРМАЦИОННЫЙ ВЫПУСК" text is in red.

Technique: 2D computer animation; none for the early variant.

Audio: A rendition of the Patrioticheskaya Pesnya anthem of the Russian SSR.

Audio Variant: None for the early variant.
