Background

OP Eiga (オーピー映画), also known as Okura Eiga (大蔵映画), is the largest and one of the oldest Japanese independent pink film studios. It was founded in 1961 by Shintoho's former president Mitsuru Okura. It was one of the most influential studios of the pink film genre alongside Shintoho Eiga, Kanto, Million Film and Wakamatsu Production.

1st Logo (1960s-19??)


Logo: Over a backdrop of spinning shining lines (like a sunburst), we see a crown with "OKURA FILM" below. At the bottom of the screen is the name "大蔵映画" in a 3D effect.

Variants: The color version has the background multicolored, the crown in red and gold, "OKURA FILM" in yellow and the Japanese name in red

2nd Logo (1990s)

Logo: On a black background, we see a rainbow-colored animated abstract crown with "OKURA FILM" inscribed on its base. Below is the company name in red. From behind the crown, multiple blue rays shoot out.

Music/Sounds: A majestic fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Eating Schoolgirls: Osaka Telephone Club

Logo: On a white background, we see "OP" (the "O" is in a black square and the "P" is in a white square), with a black rectangle below containing the word "PICTURE". Underneath is the company name in Japanese.
