Background: Odessa Filmstudio (Odesskaya Kinostudija) is one of the oldest Soviet film studios. It was founded by M.Grossman as Kino-Atelier Mirograph in 1907 and got current name in 1938. It was evacuated during WWI and returned to work only in 1954. The studio remains a major production unit in Ukraine and one of two remaining film development services (the others being Dovzhenko Studio and now-demised Yalta Studio). Their logo showing the copper ship has been one of the best known trademarks in USSR.

Logo: This is nothing more than a text disclaimer, which can be arranged in various positions, and literally reads this: "Odessa Filmstudio of Artistic Films <year>".
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: An opening theme.
Availability: Seen on Soviet films of the era.
Editor's Note: None.

Logo: On a blue (or other sea-color) background, we see copper a yacht and the two curved words ОДЕССКАЯ and КИНОСТУДИЯ around the vessel. The Ukraine version is mostly the same but with the words ОДЕСЬКА and КІНОСТУДІЯ around the vessel in Ukrainian.
FX/SFX: This is a hand-made copper ship model. In Soviet years it had no animation except for several films where either the ship zoomed or the luminosity changed or the text fading in. Currently the flag on top of the yacht does wave.
Variants:
In post-Soviet years the name would sometimes appear in Ukrainian rather than in Russian. Few years ago the logo was redone to be lighter and the yacht was repainted in CGI with golden color.
Music/Sounds: None, but in early years two bell tolls from the yacht were heard.
Availability: Common.
Editor's Note: It's a popular logo among Ukranians.
