Background

Off Hollywood Video was a home video label that was part of Studio Entertainment that was formed along with Shooting Star Video. It went defunct in 1990 when Studio Entertainment closed its doors.

Logo: On a black background, "OFF" and "HOLLYWOOD" come from both sides of the screen. Palm trees grow out of the "L"s in "HOLLYWOOD". A streak in the same color as the trees is wiped in below. Then "VIDEO" appears underneath.

Technique: Cheap animation effects and horrible music.

Music/Sounds: A skittering synth jingle with eight piano notes that sounds almost like the Neo-Geo's startup jingle.

Availability: Ultra rare. Seen on the VHS releases of Destiny to Order, Where the Spirit Lives, and Mademoiselle Striptease.
