Background
Orenthal Productions was the production company of former NFL player, actor, and broadcaster Orenthal James "O.J." Simpson. All of the company's productions were co-produced by Columbia Pictures Television and are owned by its successor, Sony Pictures Television.
Logo (December 30, 1979-January 2, 1983)
Visuals: Over a blue background, there's the company name in a italicised tan-colored font. Inside the "O" there's an orange, as a reference to Simpson's first and middle initials, which are also a common abbreviation for orange juice.
Technique: A still graphic.
Variant: On Detour to Terror, the logo shares the screen with the Playboy Productions logo. The text "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" is below both logos. The text is also in white.
Audio: The ending theme of the film.
Availability: Appeared on the television films Goldie and the Boxer, Detour to Terror, Goldie and the Boxer Go To Hollywood and Cocaine and Blue Eyes, all starring Simpson.
