(October 5, 1999-August 1, 2000)

Logo: On a wall, we see an old television set with static. We then see the words zooming in:
A

NEAL H. MORITZ

PRODUCTION
A hand comes in and turns the TV off.

FX/SFX: It's all live-action, plus the text zooming in.

Music/Sounds: The sounds of the TV static, along with a power-off sound when the TV is turned off.

Availability: Seen only on the UPN sitcom Shasta McNasty.

Original Film

1st Logo (March 5, 1999-April 29, 2004)

Logo: In darkness, there appears a yellow director chair. The scene slowly moves, revealing other contents of the recording room - the director sitting with his megaphone, the man with camera, lights and microphone. Then we see the speaker with a striped bar under his head. All the action is made in unique decorative design and using limited amount of colors, including yellow, green, dark blue and brown. The green speaker's head with bar remains in the frame, while other background becomes black and the name appears, reading "ORIGINALFILM" in a custom font. The word "FILM" is placed directly below the frame.

Variant: There is a TV version with the white box. The original frame with speaker face is placed inside the box, and the background in the frame is white. The word "ORIGINAL" is posed vertically left to the frame and "FILM" appears below (a la the 1991-2005 LucasArts logo), all in black, with the small square in the corner dividing them. This logo is completely still.

FX/SFX: The picture gradually fading in, there is no other action.

Music/Sounds: A simple uprising composition. On Slackers, the opening theme is heard.

Availability: Uncommon, appeared not on every movie, but was seen on The Skulls trilogy. The box version appeared on Cabin by the Lake, but its sequel, Return to the Cabin by the Lake, had the movie logo instead.

2nd Logo (August 8, 2003- )

Logo: We see the spinning silver "O" appearing from the darkness. Then it moves left, making room for other letters of the words "ORIGINAL FILM", covered by two lines up and down. The logo shines.

Variants:

  • Television shows featured the shortened animation.
  • Starting in 2010, the logo was given a more enhanced look.
  • On Sonic the Hedgehog, the logo is blue and the background is red.
    • On Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the colors are switched. The version leaked online has brighter colors.
    • Nickelodeon airings of both films have a 16:9 open-matte version.
  • On some TV shows, the logo is still.
  • On Tru Calling, the logo is stretched and it simply fades in as the letters of "RIGINAL FILM" move from the "O".
  • On the 2017 version of S.W.A.T., the logo is above the Perfect Storm Entertainment logo.
  • On Point Pleasant and The Boys, it is in warp speed.
  • On the 2017 version of Prison Break, the print logo is used and shares the screen with the Dawn Olmstead Productions and Adelstein Productions logos.

FX/SFX: The letters forming.

Music/Sounds: None or the movie's opening theme. At the beginning of Vantage Point and the 2012 remake of Total Recall, the tail end of the Columbia Pictures logo's music echoes over the very beginning of the spinning silver letter, then the logo remains completely silent. The television variant had a humming-like whoosh.

Availability: First seen on S.W.A.T. Common on movies, such as Vantage Point and Prom Night. The television version can be seen on Prison Break and Tru Calling.
