Background

Osiris Video Films was a video distributor in Argentina.

Logo (1980s)

Visuals: On a black background, four blue triangles move inward to form one bigger triangle. A white caption "OSIRIS VIDEO FILMS" rises from the bottom to the center of the triangle. Next, a box pans out to reveal a burgundy background, with a yellow outline of a sun in the top left corner and a pharaoh in each bottom corner. The previously mentioned "OSIRIS VIDEO FILMS" text appears in the center of the screen, and it looks like the pharaohs are presenting the text. "OSIRIS VIDEO FILMS" slides down to the bottom of the screen after everything else on the background disappears, and above it, a yellow square with a blue triangle inside of it fades in. The box and the text disappear, and the burgundy background fades to "PRESENTA" in a computer-like font on a black background. The text disappears after 6 seconds.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The beginning of "Live to Tell" by Madonna.

Availability: Probably seen on releases from this company at the time, which are hard to find.
