Background

This is Josh Berman's vanity card.

1st Logo (August 21, 2006-June 22, 2014)

Visuals: There is a black-and-white photograph of a sailor on the right wearing a uniform, and his wife on the left wearing a wedding dress in a cruise ship-like area. As it zooms out, the picture fades to an older version of them with "OSPREY PRODUCTIONS" appearing underneath in the Rockwell font.

Variant: A still version exists.

Technique: Zooming and fading effects.

Audio: A jazzy tune, a two-note violin tune, or the closing theme.

Availability: Seen on Vanished on Fox, Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime, and The Mob Doctor on Fox.

2nd Logo (September 22, 2016-)

Visuals: The logo starts with fish in the water. One of the fish reaches up to the water on a white background as it transforms into an osprey, flying away with the words "OSPREY" in a cartoon-like font, with "PRODUCTIONS" below it.

Variants:

  • There exists a version where the logo is still with the osprey already there and with the name next to it, appearing in a box.
  • On season 1 of Murder House Flip, the logo is next to the Sony Pictures Television Studios logo.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: Some calm sea noises, followed by a water drop and a bird calling. Sometimes, the closing theme plays over it or silence.

Availability: Seen on Notorious on ABC, Daytime Divas on VH1, Murder House Flip on Quibi, and Gordita Chronicles on HBO Max.
