Background
This was the home video division of the publishing company Oxford University Press, of the University of Oxford.
Logo (1989)
Visuals: On a navy background, three stacked RGB crowns fade in order respectively, then zooms away to stand upwards as they turn white. A white open book flips in under the crowns, and the stacked words "Oxford English Video" fades under.
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: Three Moog-like synth notes with flourishes, with a deep echoed 'hit' as the crowns zoom, then a held out synth note.
Availability: Seen on the Project Video 1-3 tapes. It may have also appeared on other tapes by the publisher.
