Logo: We dissolve from the FBI warning screen of the time to a very slow zooming space background, where a yellow comet flies in from the right of the screen and after reaching the top left curves towards the center and disappears. Then three yellow circles give way to the logo from before outline by outline. when the logo is completely formed it becomes 3D. |

FX/SFX: The comet and the animation of the squares. |

Music/Sounds: A deep 5 note synth theme with a whoosh sound taking place after the first note followed by 4 lighter notes. |

Background
Palisades Home Video is the final renaming of Continental Video by Andre Blay and Elliott Kastner when Cinema Group itself was rebranded under Palisades Entertainment in December 1987. The company did not last for long, and its assets were sold to Magnum Entertainment and New Star Video.
Logo (1988)
Visuals: Same as the movie logo, but the entire logo has a gem-like appearance, is in a brighter blue color, and the text is in pure white.
Technique: A still graphic.
Audio: A humming choir.
Availability: Seen on later tapes from the era, like The Kidnapping of Baby John Doe.
