Logo (1996-2000)
Visuals: On a black background, three rings come out and rotate into the center, forming an atom shape. A flash occurs, as lights pass through the atom. A ripple then appears below as the green outline of "Panasonic" in the corporate font and "Digital Contents Inc." in serif fades in. The atom fades out, with another ring moving down fading in. It briefly expands and shrinks into the disc of the DVD logo, with the "DVD" wordmark later appearing.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: An arpeggiating synth theme. A whoosh can be heard when the other ring appears.
Availability: Seen mostly on early Japanese DVDs, such as those of NHK.
