Background

Panda Entertainment was a Taiwanese video game company formed in 1994. Its most infamous game is Sango Fighter, a popular Taiwanese fighting game that used an engine that was based off of Super Fighter, another Taiwanese fighting game. Which its company C&E sued Panda and won, halting the game completely. Panda Entertainment soon disbanded in 1997.

Visuals: The screen fades in, where on a navy blue background there is a smiling panda in a metallic circle. Underneath him, there is a thin red/yellow line that covers the bottom of the screen. The text on the bottom reads: "© 1994-7 PANDA ENTERTAINMENT" in a white bolded font.

Technique: A still sprite.

Audio: A low calming synth note, or the opening of the game.

Availability: Most of their games were on the MS-DOS, and a few on the commercially failed Taiwanese Funtech Super A'can. It might be easier to find on a pirated version of Sango Fighter.
