Background

This was a banner for syndicated movie broadcasts used by Paramount Pictures.

Ident (August 1, 1982-1984)


Visuals: On a black background, the word "SPECIAL" flashes in. The words "A" and "PRESENTATION" zoom out in red and turn pink as they zoom out, stopping above and below "SPECIAL". Two pink lines appear, one below "SPECIAL" and the other below "RESENTATIO". "Paramount", in its corporate font, fades in below. Finally, a blue appears behind the words. The end result is this:
