'''Music/Sounds:''' A dramatic orchestral tune combined with a man yelling "The evil one!", the sounds of the angry mob, then another man yelling "GET HIM!". This variant may or may not be sped up. The long version uses a synth drone, then the sounds of the yelling crowd and some gasps and barks, and when the arrow forms the text a bell is heard. For the still version, it's the end theme of the show.

'''Music/Sounds/Variant(s)''':

* For earlier uses, it had a dramatic medieval theme with the sound of people saying "The evil one!" and "Get him!" with some chants and banter in between.
* On ''Zombieland'', it used a different theme played with dogs barking in the background and a lone church bell when the text appears.
* Sometimes the closing theme of the show or the network's generic theme plays over the logo.

Background

This is Gavin Polone's production company.

(September 12, 2002-)

Nicknames: "The Running Man", "Get Caught", "The Evil One! Get Him!"

Logo: Set on a crumbled village, a red-cloaked man emerges from a stack of rocks as an angry mob chases him in the distance, while the glowing yellow word "PARIAH" is seen above. The man runs against the screen as the mob comes closer, his cloak covering up the screen.

Variants:

  • A long version exists, where the man's emergence is darker and the word "PARIAH" isn't already formed. After the man runs up at the screen, a fire arrow is launched and forms the word "PARIAH" above as we go to a black background.
  • A still version exists.

FX/SFX: 2D hand-drawn animation.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic orchestrated fanfare with the sound of bells and a wordless chorus. Abridged on television productions.

Music/Sounds/Variant(s):

  • For earlier uses, it had a dramatic medieval theme with the sound of people saying "The evil one!" and "Get him!" with some chants and banter in between.
  • On Zombieland, it used a different theme played with dogs barking in the background and a lone church bell when the text appears.
  • Sometimes the closing theme of the show or the network's generic theme plays over the logo.

Availability: The short version was seen on the short-lived 2002 revival of Family Affair, Hack, My Boys, The Showbiz Show, Emily's Reason Why Not and strangely at the start of the film Population 436, in spite of the long version being introduced two years before the movie came out. The long version is seen on the films Zombieland, Primeval, Nerdland, Premium Rush and the unsold pilot for D.O.T.S.. The still version was seen on the short-lived HBO series Tell Me You Love Me.
