Background

This was a production company by James D. Parriott. This company only made four shows: Voyagers! in 1982, Misfits of Science in 1985, and came back in 1996 to make Matt Waters and Rag And Bone. James D. Parriott would later found Parriott.

1st Logo (October 3, 1982-July 10, 1983)

Logo: On a black background, we see the letters, in white,

PRODUCED BY
JAMES D PARRIOTT
PRODUCTIONS

in the middle, in a Courier New font. Then, an exclamation mark fades in at the end of Productions.

FX/SFX: Only the exclamation point fading in

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of Voyagers!.

Availability: Extremely rare today, only seen on Voyagers!, in which has not been seen on TV for many years, but it's intact on DVDs of the said show.

Nickname: "Good night, bunnies!"

Logo: On a black background we see James D. Parriott Productions in pink and in Mistral font (also used on the Night Court logo).

Variants:

  • Depending on the print quality, the logo color may appear as white.
  • On the episode "Sonar... and Yet So Far", the logo is placed in the background of the credits.
  • On the final episode "Three Days of the Blender", the logo is superimposed into the footage.
  • The lightning bolts strike three times, and then the logo appear.

Music/Sounds: A female voice says: "Good night, bunnies!". The first two episodes of the show has the logo silent.

3rd Logo (January 3-February 7, 1996)

and
JAMES D. PARRIOTT PRODUCTIONS, INC.
