Background
Pascal Pictures is the production company of Amy Pascal that was founded in 2016. The first film from the company was the 2016 remake of Ghostbusters, but they didn't use an on-screen logo until 2018, starting with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Logo (December 14, 2018-)
-
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse variant
Visuals: On a black background, two vertical lines form, along with a horizontal line that forms as well. The horizontal line morphs into a diorama of a city, which in turn morphs into a square. The words "PASCAL PICTURES" fade in.
Variants:
- On the end of films produced by Columbia Pictures, the logo scrolls up.
- On Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the logo is constantly glitching; the glitching is different on both movies. On the former variant's case, just like the regular logo, it was done by Devastudios. On the latter, the logo backs away to make room for the Lord Miller Productions logo.
Technique: Computer animation by Devastudios.
Audio: None or the opening/closing theme of the movie.
Availability: It debuted on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse as a variant, with the standard version making its first appearance on Spider-Man: Far From Home. Was later seen on Little Women, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Challengers, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, also as a variant, and Venom: The Last Dance.
