Background

This is the vanity card of Paul Germain and Joe Ansolabehere, the creators of Recess and Lloyd in Space. The former was also the co-creator of Rugrats, and the latter was a developer for Hey Arnold!.

(February 3, 2001-February 27, 2004, October 10, 2010-January 28, 2012)

Nickname: "The Two Kids"

Logo: In a still picture, we see a black-and-white photograph of Paul and Joe as children in a city, next to 2 more photographs. Over the photo are the words "A Paul & Joe", and below it is "Production". A spotlight shines over the picture and the logo shakes like an old film.

Variant: On the 2010 version of Pound Puppies, the logo is still and in widescreen. Also there are fully visible pictures on both sides.

FX/SFX: The spotlight and the old film effects.

Music/Sounds:

  • Lloyd in Space: A UFO-like echoing guitar chord.
  • Recess movies: A short piano ditty.
  • Pound Puppies: The sounds of dogs barking.

Availability: Seen on Lloyd in Space, Recess (DTV movies only, intact on Disney+; this never appeared on the show itself or on its theatrical movie, Recess: School's Out) and Pound Puppies (season 1).

Editor's Note: None.
