Background

Paxson Entertainment was the production division of Paxson Communications formed in 1999 that produced original content for the PAX network (now known as Ion Television). Paxson Entertainment shut down in 2005 due to PAX's decision to halt the production of original programming, upon PAX's rebranding to i: Independent Television.

1st Logo (1999-2000)

Logo: A waving American flag is seen. A flash of light appears and brings forth the PAX logo with a white outline and "Paxson Entertainment" in a serif typeface below.
