Background
Pearl River Film Company was a Chinese film production company from the late 1950s to 2000. It was originally founded as Zhujiang Film Company in 1956, before being renamed into Pearl River Film Studio in 1958. Until the 1970s, Pearl River produced its historical and war films, but in the 1990s, it started to make comedic/drama films. In 1978, the Pearl River Film Studio name was reinstated, but it was renamed into Pearl River Film Company. In the early 2000s, Pearl River Film Company closed, and has been folded into the Pearl River Film Group.

Logo: We see the Pearl River Delta background, but it looks embossed. The text "Pearl River Film Studio" in Chinese with text shadow mode.
Variant: There is a another variant where the text in Chinese is carved over the marble background.

3rd Logo (1970s-1980)
Nickname: "The Pearl River Statue"
Logo: On the evening beach background, we see the statue on a path. Like before, the text "Pearl River Film Studio in red Chinese font.

- A black and white or purple-tinted version exists.
- A early variant is slightly blue-tinted and had the text is more down.

Logo: On a red/dark red background, we see a text "Pearl River Film Studio" in gold Chinese font.

- A wood background version with white text exists.
- The size and the positioning of the logo may vary.
- From 1986 to 2000, the logo's name was changed into "Pearl River Film Company".
