Background

Persistence of Vision was the vanity plate of American producer Philip DeGuere.

Logo (September 27, 1985-July 17, 1987)

Visuals: On a beige background, we see the Eye of Providence (a black pyramid with an eye in it), and a line with "POV" below it. The line extends to the left, taking the Eye with it and unfolding the text into "PERSISTANCE OF VISION." The Eye leaves behind six unevenly arranged shadows as it moves.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The end theme of the show.

Availability: Only known to exist on the first 2 seasons of the 1980s revival of The Twilight Zone.
