This is the vanity card of Richard Appel, a writer and producer for series such as Family Guy, American Dad!, and The Cleveland Show.
1st Logo (February 4-April 1, 2003)

Logo: We see a closeup of a greenish-grey court background merging together into frame, as the stacked serif text "PERSONS UNKNOWN PRODUCTIONS" tilts and settles into frame with a shadow behind. As the background quickly merges, it suddenly turns grey.
Variant: On the pre-broadcast pilot of the series, a different court background is used as it slowly zooms in, and the name is in a different font as it blurs in.
FX/SFX: The merging of the background, the name tilting. On the pre-broadcast pilot variant, the background zooming and the name blurring in.
Music/Sounds: The closing theme. Original NBC airings used a generic theme and a voiceover.
Availability: Seen on the short-lived series A.U.S.A.
