Background

Pervez Productions was a film studio owned by director M. Pervez.

1st Logo (January 2, 1966-February 27, 1969)

Visuals: The screen slowly zooms out from a painted cloudy sky. Suddenly, some white Urdu text appears and zooms out, containing the company name and the word "PRESENTS!".

Technique: Camera-controlled animation.

Audio: A dramatic fanfare with the last note choppily repeated. An announcer is heard talking through the middle.

Availability: Seen on Maidaan and Sau Din Chor Da.

2nd Logo (March 14, 1975, July 23, 1982)

Visuals: Almost the same as above, but the sky is in a different setting and now filmed in live-action. The logo is also in color and the Urdu text is in yellow. It moves back two seconds later, and then disappears, and then fades to black.

Variant: On Chardha Suraj, the sky is more "natural" colored.

Technique: Live-action for the sky background, and camera-controlled animation for the text.

Audio: Same as above, but extended. Chardha Suraj has the first part cut out.

Availability: Seen on Ser Da Badla and Chardha Suraj.

3rd Logo (November 12, 1978-1991?)

Visuals: A view of a rural area is shown from below. The camera then faces up into the sky, as some red Urdu text appears in front.

Technique: Live-action with a fading effect for the red text.

Audio: Same as before.

Availability: Seen on Sanjhi Hathkari, Khana Jungi, Boycott, Lal Toofan and Sher Medan Da.
