Background

Phnom Pich Films was a Cambodian film company.

1st Logo (1990)

Visuals: There is a pink moving striped background which goes away via a "ripple" transition, revealing a live action diamond with a black top resting on top of a yellow hill over a blue backdrop. The diamond "shines". Then the green arched Khmer text above the diamond fades in alongside a white banner below the diamond with red Khmer text inscribed on the sides of it and "PHNOMPICHFILM" inscribed on the center.

Technique: Scanimation for the pink screen, live-action for the rest of the logo.

Audio: A triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Kung Janh Knanh Ong'Ael

2nd Logo (1994)

Visuals: On a moving sunburst background filled with colored diamond shapes, there is a diamond with black and yellow border, and there is a Khmer text in a arched font and in yellow, with yellow Khmer text on left and right, and it has yellow text "PHNOM PICH FILMS" in a arched font and in black outlined. The sunburst keeps moving.

Technique: Live-action modeling effects.

Audio: A 3-note Khmer-style fanfare.

Availability: Found only on Pov Malis Lea.
