Background

This is the vanity card of Louis C.K., the star of Lucky Louie and Louie. It was formerly known as "Circus King Productions".

Circus King Productions

Logo (June 11, 2006-January 13, 2007)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a white circle containing a drawing of a king with his arms stretched out. "Circus King" and "Productions" are shown above and below the logo, respectively, curving around the king.

Technique: None. [possible misuse]

Audio: The end theme of Lucky Louie.

Availability: It was only seen on the short-lived Lucky Louie and Louis C.K.: Shameless.

Pig Newton

Logo (October 4, 2008-September 8, 2017)

Visuals: The logo starts with what looks sort of like a dollar bill that covers the whole screen. The background is red outlines of what appear to be the Indian head test pattern (which featured a teddy bear on top, in place of the Indian head), and in the foreground we see a fancily-written "P" inside a starburst in the same pattern as the border in the bottom-left, an "n" in the same fashion in the top-right, a B&W picture of a pig wearing a powdered wig and has an apple on his head (like George Washington), and the words "PIG NEWTON, INC." (in a font you will see on your typical dollar bill) in a curved rectangle in the top-left. Above the text it has the words "We make television that almost doesn't stink", and below "These words say this, And these words don't". The URL for Louis C.K.'s website (louisck.net) is shown in a smaller version of the same curved rectangle at the very bottom-center of the picture.

Variant: On One Mississippi, the logo is next to the 3 Arts Entertainment logo.

Technique: None. [possible misuse]

Audio: None or the closing theme of the show. Sometimes, a noise sounding similar to radio transmitter is heard.

Availability: Seen on the FX series Louie. It was first seen on Louis C.K.: Chewed Up and also appears on One Mississippi and the first two seasons of Baskets.
