Background

This was a company run by Michael Piller and his son Shawn Piller.

Logo (June 16, 2002-September 16, 2007)

Visuals: On a black background is two orange "L"s (resembling noses) mirrored, with two blue dots (resembling eyes) next to them which appear to blink, and two red dots (resembling mouths) which appear to open. The "L"s slowly zoom back while the number 2 in superscript and the letters "P, I, E, R" fade in around the letters. The dots then disappear.

Variant: On Wildfire, the logo is still.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Some banter spoken by Michael and Shawn Piller who state "Yes" and "No" 3 times respectively before Michael exclaims "You're grounded". Sometimes, it's the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on the first five seasons of The Dead Zone, the first two seasons of Wildfire and the failed pilot to Day One.
