Cesar Blanco, Santiago Reveco Lepe Reborn
1st Logo (1990?-1993)
Logo: On a black background, we see a red box with a "P" in the center and filmstrips moving on the sides of it. The words: "PIONEER FILMS" and "PRESENTS", in red and cyan, are seen below.
FX/SFX: The moving filmstrips.
Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the trailer/movie.
Availability: Seen on Irampa si Mediavillo, their first known appearance as a production company and the theatrical trailer of Manila Boy.
Editor's Note: This logo is creative and original, compared to the next logo...
2nd Logo (1993)
Nicknames: "The MPCA Rip-Off", "MPCA of the Philippines"
Logo: Same as the 1987 Motion Picture Corporation of America logo, but instead of "MOTION PICTURE CORPORATION OF AMERICA" fading in, the orange words "PIONEER FILMS" slide in and stop in the center of the marble background.
FX/SFX: Same as the MPCA logo, but with a different name sliding in instead.
Music/Sounds: A creepy synth note that holds up throughout the whole logo, accompanied by whooshes, drumbeats, and laser zaps.
Availability: Only seen on the Filipino movie, Manila Boy.
Editor's Note: It has received infamy in the logo community as one of the cheapest logos from the Philippines, with the blatant use of the animation from the 1987 Motion Picture Corporation of America.
