Piwi+ (formerly Piwi) is a French pay television channel for children aged 3 to 6, owned by the Canal+ Group.
Piwi was first launched on October 20, 2002 as a preschool block on Télétoon for Les Minitoons, and then on December 3, 2003 as the preschool channel from Télévision Par Satellite. In 2007, TPS merged with its competitor Canalsat.
In 2016-2017, Piwi+ became a Canal+ exclusive all around the world. It is also distributed on VOO in Belgium and Teleclub Les + in Switzerland.
1st Logo (2002-2010)
Nickname: Télétoon+'s Sister
Logo: On a black/white background, we see a sunshine yellow and amber mascot. There was a Piwi text in kiwi green. Then the mascot looks at the viewers, smiles, and winks. Underneath is the byline, whose animation varies depending on which byline.
Byline:
- 2002-2006: "Une société TPS"
- 2007-2010: "Une société Canal+"
- On some TV shows, the logo is bylineless. If this was used during the TF1 era, then the TF1 logo will follow.
Variants:
- Sometimes, the website address (www.piwi.fr) is seen below the logo.
- Sometimes, the copyright information is seen below the logo.
- An opening variant exists where the text "Piwi Présente" is seen in the sky blue background with a rainbow. This variant appears at the beginning of previews from the time.
- TV shows with this logo use a still version of this logo.
- On later episodes of Willa's Wild Life, a still version of this logo also exists. It was above the 1990 TF1 logo.
FX/SFX: Cute CGI animation.
Music/Sounds: The opening/closing theme of the show.
Availability: Rare. Seen on Les Vacances de Piwi, Bouge avec Mimik, the later episodes of Willa's Wild Life and Au pays des signes.

2nd Logo (May 17, 2011-)
Nicknames: "Télétoon+'s Sister II"
Logo: We see a sunshine yellow sun with a cute little smiling face. We see two kiwi green circles, and the center of the circles, we see a green rectangle with the white text Piwi+. The logo is an in-credit logo.
FX/SFX: CGI animation.
Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the show.
Availability: Uncommon. Seen on newer Piwi+ original programming such as Molang.
