Plastic Wax
Background
Plastic Wax is an animation and visual effects studio specializing in content for video games, film and television.
1st Logo (1998-2002)
Logo: On a dimly lit surface, several letters fly down with blue streaks into the place, creating ripples while they do so. Sparkles can also be seen everywhere. Once they all land in the surface, they rotate towards the screen and a blue light shines on the new word "PLASTIC WAX". The ripples continue until the logo zooms out.
FX/SFX: The letters flying, the rotating.
Music/Sounds: A dramatic synth-string sounder with a "bling" during the shine, and ending with a short choir tune and a "slam" sound.
Music/Sounds Trivia: The music (which is a stock track) was also used for the 1999 Rhino Home Video, 2002 Eureka Multimedia (lacking the slam sound), and the 2003 Favorit-Film logo.
Availability: Uncommon. Can be seen on Hi-5 Activity Center, The Wiggles: Wiggly Party, The Wiggles: Wiggle Bay and The Wiggles: A Day With The Wiggles. It may or may not have appeared on The Hooley-Dooleys Oopsadazee! CD-ROM.
Legacy: This logo has some nice CGI for the time period that still holds up today.
2nd Logo (2003)
FX/SFX: The figure stumbling, the transformation.
Music/Sounds: The end theme of the movie.
Availability: Very rare. Can be seen at the end of The Wiggles: Space Dancing.
Legacy: A decent logo that was sadly wasted, as it only appeared on one film.
