Background
This was the former production division of PlayStation to produce movies and TV shows. After the failure of Ratchet & Clank, both it and the revived Gramercy Pictures would shut their doors. Three years later, Sony Interactive Entertainment launch PlayStation Productions as a successor to this company.
(March 10, 2015-July 19, 2016)
Logo: On a dark blue background, a shiny dot appears and forms a PlayStation shape, then we see the PlayStation shapes flying into their separate places, then rotate and fly back, until the shapes disappear and in place of it is a blue underline below the text "PlayStation" and under the line is the text "Originals" in the same font used for the word on top of the underline.
Variant: On Ratchet & Clank, the logo features clips from the movie on the shapes when they fly around.
Technique: CGI.
Music/Sounds: A dramatic but majestic fanfare that ends with a PlayStation-like ping.
Availability: Seen on Powers and the 2016 Ratchet & Clank film.
