Background
Pokémon USA, Inc. was a production company of the Pokémon media franchise that was established in 2002. It specialized in the acquisition, production, and licensing of the Pokémon franchise in the Americas. In 2009, Pokémon USA, Inc. and Pokémon UK merged to form The Pokémon Company International.
