Background
Polar Star Production was a film production company from Taiwan.
Logo (November 5, 1990)
Visuals: A moving starfield with nebulas and a bright galaxy is shown at the center. A trail of red stars spins into the galaxy, and a yellow flash occurs, bringing in an italic "P" with a star representing the hole. It glows in blue, and a blue shine appears moving vertically in front of it three times. Then a blue flash appears below, bringing in the yellow names of the company in Chinese and in English, with "POLAR STAR PRODUCTION CO." below. A shine passes through the text, then the shine passes through the P. A white shine then appears in front of the logo as rays come out behind it and the stars disappear.
Technique: Backlit animation.
Audio: An ambient synthesizer with a repeated synth arpeggio, with wind sounds being heard. Once the name appears, a bombastic fanfare is heard.
Availability: So far, the logo was only seen in Young Big Boss.
