In February 2017, Universal Music Group (owned by French media conglomerate Vivendi S.A. and unaffiliated with Universal Pictures since 2004) revived the PolyGram name for UMG's new film and television unit called PolyGram Entertainment.
(September 15, 2016-)
Logo: Just the word "polygram" in a bold font, with "ENTERTAINMENT" in a smaller, spaced-out font below. All the text is white against a black background. Sometimes, a byline saying "A UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP COMPANY" will be below it.
Variant: On Beastie Boys Story, the text is smaller than usual. On some episodes of Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, the logo is inverted, and is next to the Zihuatanejo Productions logo.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Seen on The Beatles: Eight Days a Week; however, it doesn't appear at all on the digital prints of the film. Also appeared on Pavarotti and Beastie Boys Story, the latter of which was released on Apple TV+. Currently seen on Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist on NBC.
