Background

Power Video was a Brazilian distributor founded in 1990.[1] They released films such as Animalympics and Driven to Kill.

1st Logo (1990)

Visuals: The logo appears, translucent and bathed in golden chrome, before stock footage of fire. After 10 seconds, the logo gradually fades to white.

Technique: Analog video juxtaposition

Audio: An excerpt of Elmer Bernstein - Overture (from the Ten Commandments soundtrack)

Availability: Seen on very early releases by this company, such as The Car That Ate Paris.
